Thistles through the seasons!
Spring has Sprung in 2019!
A Time to Sow! The 3 P’s! 1. Plan 2. Prepare 3. Pray that the seeds come through and give a good harvest!
Hands on with Clay! Making objects including the pattern of leaves from the garden!
Time for a Spring Clean!
In April, members of the Group at Thistles took part in The BIG Boston Clean Up! They were joined by Jen Moore from the Borough Council. Apart from working, they were also able to make a visit to The Guildhall and were provided with lunch at nearby Fydell House.
In May, there was a visit to collect some donated plants. It was also an opportunity to meet some new fluffy friends!
Summer 2019
Clay Tiles & Bird Boxes.
Planting at the Police Station!
Despite record rainfall in June and some flooding in the Polytunnels, Thistles managed to produce and sell some lovely hanging baskets!
New paved area for plant displays! Good preparation is most important!
Thanks to Tony Clarke for making another planter from railway sleepers!
2 planters have been filled in Sutterton - sponsored by Jakemans’ with compost from Fountains.
Thank you to Cheers Nurseries for a generous donation of plants!
